Last week WordPress 3.4 was released, and we are pushing out a “compatibility update” for Genesis to address a few minor bugs. While nothing major was reported since the released, there have been a few things that needed to be addressed.
We’re happy to announce that Genesis 1.8.2 is now available for download, and you should start to see the update notice in your dashboard.
If you don’t, go to the Appearance > Themes page there, and then head back to the dashboard homepage. This should trigger the update notice.
Here’s a list of changes that have been made to Genesis 1.8.2:
- Fixed bug in term editing function
- Fixed warning when using the Theme Editor
- Fixed deprecated function warning when displaying theme information in the document head
- Fixed deprecated function warning when using Genesis’s custom header feature

So go ahead and update now, and let us know if you see any other issues or confirm that those issues addressed in this update have been resolved.
