Genesis Theme Framework – version 1.1.1 is now available. This update addresses a few minor bugs that were in the previous version, and also includes a few elements of additional functionality. It’s always suggested you update to the latest version, and with Genesis, updating is a simple thing to do.
How to Update to Genesis v1.1.1
Assuming you haven’t made any changes to the core Genesis files, updating to the latest version of the Genesis Theme Framework is very easy. If you are running Genesis v1.1 you will see a notification in your dashboard that there is a new version of Genesis available. Just follow the instructions and you will be able to update in seconds. This is the main reason we’ve encouraged everyone to make changes through the child theme, as updating the Genesis Theme Framework is THAT easy.

- Made “Full width header” the default theme setting option
- Removed Secondary Nav from loading on default
